Head Coach
Quentin Laneuville
Quentin commenced as head coach at Mosman Swim Club, in November 2019. With over 10 years coaching experience, Quentin is certified as an ASCTA Advanced Coach, holding a Bronze License Swim accreditation in addition to a Bachelor degree in Sports Training (France), and Diploma in Strength and Conditioning (France).
His background includes many years as a competitive swimmer, National Triathlete and a National Modern Pentathlon competitor. Prior to Mosman, Quentin coached at swimming clubs such as Lane Cove Aquatic Centre and Nantes, France. With experience including; specialist strength and conditioning training, and the practical experience of a full-time internship with one of the country’s professional volleyball teams.
Quentin leads the Mosman Swim Club with a passion for training rigour. His mission; to train swimmers of all levels to reach their full potential. Under Quentin’s guidance, his swimmer’s consistently surpass their personal bests and maintain a positive growth mindset.
Assistant Coach
Aurelius C.
Aurelius began his coaching in 2023, as a Learn to Swim instructor and has since developed a strong passion for coaching and swimmer development. He holds a Development Coach accreditation, Aus Swim coaching licence, and a SWIM Squad Fundamentals Accreditation. Further, a Diploma of Business (Sport Management) and is currently completing a Certificate IV in Fitness, developing his knowledge in strength and conditioning and athlete development.
His background includes many years as a state level swimmer. He has also competed in many competitive sports including rugby league, basketball, soccer, and tennis.
Aurelius has coached swimmers across all levels, from Learn to Swim basics through to state level squads. He is passionate about helping swimmers improve their technique, fitness, and performance.
His coaching style focuses on technique, work ethic, confidence, and creating a positive environment where swimmers of all levels can improve, while enjoying their swimming, and reach their full potential. He believes swimmers perform their best when they enjoy training, feel supported, and take pride in their progress.
Assistant Coach
Ethan J.
Ethan joined Mosman Swim Club in December 2021, bringing with him a dedication to fostering both motivation and enjoyment in his coaching approach. He is certified as a Swim Australia Foundation Coach and has accumulated three years of experience teaching Learn to Swim at Mosman, with two years of coaching experience at the club.
His commitment to creating a balanced environment where swimmers are encouraged to excel while having fun is evident in his coaching style. Ethan is passionate about helping swimmers of all ages and abilities reach their full potential while ensuring that their experience in the water remains engaging and positive.
